Tucked away beneath the pews, hidden in choir stalls and candlelit corners, there has always been a quieter life unfolding within the great churches of England. The Church Mice are a celebration of that imagined world - a collection of small sculptural characters inspired by medieval carving, folklore, and the gentle humour found in centuries of church life. Each has its own role and story, and its own quiet presence, brought to life with warmth and careful detail.

The collection is divided into five chapters, each reflecting a different aspect of the Church Mouse world.

From the solemn routines of daily worship, to watchful companions who share the shadows, from figures drawn from English history and legend, to moments of music, rest, and mischief after hours, and Musical Mice playing their instruments. Each chapter reveals a different side of life behind closed doors.

Designed in our workshop and finished by hand, the Church Mice are not mass-produced ornaments, but thoughtfully made keepsakes - intended to be discovered, collected, and enjoyed over time.
