Hiding in a Cheese Block

This piece is known as the Church Mouse Hiding in a Cheese Block and is one of the very latest additions to the collection. On his travels through the church, our little mouse has struck gold and discovered a huge block of cheese. After eagerly eating his way inside, he realises he can hide safely within it.

But danger is never far away. Hearing the Church Cat approaching, the mouse retreats deeper into the cheese, hoping the cat does not share his taste for it. Life has been hard for this little mouse, living quietly among the choir stalls of the Cathedral, and he now hopes for a kinder future and a new home. Could you be his saviour and new keeper?

Each Church Mouse is cast in resin from a mould taken directly from the original hand-carved sculpture. They are not wooden carvings, though their carefully finished surface reflects the warmth and character of aged oak. Produced in small batches with great care and attention to detail, some pieces are made to order, so please allow 3–4 days before dispatch.
