Standing proudly behind the pulpit, the Church Mouse at the Pulpit prepares to deliver words of comfort and guidance. When the cathedral is quiet and the congregation has gone, he practises his sermon beneath the great arches, hoping his message will one day be heard.
This thoughtful and compassionate mouse represents leadership, reassurance, and quiet faith. Life within the cathedral has not been easy, but he remains devoted to his role, dreaming of warmer days and a kinder home beyond the choir stalls.
Each Church Mouse is cast in resin from a mould taken directly from the original hand-carved sculpture. They are not wooden carvings, though their carefully finished surface reflects the warmth and character of aged oak. Produced in small batches with great care and attention to detail, some pieces are made to order, so please allow 3–4 days before dispatch.
