The Wise Old Owl. It is a striking and characterful piece taken from a superbly sculpted original by Nick Hunter. Entirely Nick’s own design, the owl perfectly reflects his distinctive sense of humour: here the wise owl has managed to capture one of our Church Mice! The result is a charming and slightly mischievous scene that works beautifully as a table ornament and could equally be used as a decorative paperweight.
Size: Approximately 4 inches (height).
Each Animal is cast in resin from a mould taken directly from the original hand-carved sculpture. They are not wooden carvings, though their carefully finished surface reflects the warmth and character of aged oak. Produced in small batches with great care and attention to detail, some pieces are made to order, so please allow 3–4 days before dispatch.
