Dressed in his finest robes, the Church Mouse Cardinal steps into his important new role. Today he serves as one of the Pope’s closest allies, entrusted with delivering a delicate message to King Henry VIII — a task requiring courage, tact, and no small amount of luck.
Despite his elevated status, life for the Cardinal Mouse remains humble. He still lives among the choir stalls, where warmth and comfort are scarce, yet he carries out his duties with dignity and hope.
Each Church Mouse is cast in resin from a mould taken directly from the original hand-carved sculpture. They are not wooden carvings, though their carefully finished surface reflects the warmth and character of aged oak. Produced in small batches with great care and attention to detail, some pieces are made to order, so please allow 3–4 days before dispatch.
