When the cathedral falls silent, the Reading Church Mouse opens his Bible and studies its pages by candlelight. Thoughtful and well-mannered, he represents learning, reflection, and quiet faith.
Life in the choir stalls is not easy, but knowledge and devotion give him comfort and purpose as he hopes for a kinder future.
Each Church Mouse is cast in resin from a mould taken directly from the original hand-carved sculpture. They are not wooden carvings, though their carefully finished surface reflects the warmth and character of aged oak. Produced in small batches with great care and attention to detail, some pieces are made to order, so please allow 3–4 days before dispatch.
